Hoya Mathilde is a charming and resilient hybrid climbing plant, born from the cross between Hoya carnosa and Hoya serpens. It is beloved for its compact, rounded, succulent-like leaves that are bright green and beautifully speckled with silvery "splash" markings. As a fast-growing epiphyte, it looks stunning trailing from a hanging basket or climbing a small trellis, and when happy, it produces adorable clusters of sweet-smelling, star-shaped pink and white flowers. It thrives in bright indirect light and requires its well-draining soil to dry out between waterings, making it an excellent, low-maintenance choice for beginners.
